Snow Girls

Snow Persons

These are the snowgirls that Taylor and Shaylie made this morning. ;-) The girls have walked up to the school to try and slide down the hill.

What?!?

Snow in St. George in March

We woke up this morning and what did we see, frozen popcorn falling off the apricots trees.  Spring has brought us such a shocking surprise, trees freezing their pedals off before our eyes....

I am very happy our tree is usually three weeks behind the rest in budding, as all the other trees were blooming this past week.  I think this is going to kill any travel plans.  I feel bad for all the baseball teams that are in town for the spring break baseball tournaments.

It's snowing

March 10th and it is snowing in St. George.  So much for Tonya's flowers in the front area.  I am beginning to think that it is never going to warm up here this year.  Taylor says that "it is silly that it is snowing in March." Cedar City has over a foot and the DWS office up there is running with only a couple of people.

And to think that Tonya, Taylor and Shaylie were going to go to Holden today. Not going to happen. ;-)

Blah, Blah, Blog

Well, I just got done checking everyone's blogs again, with no new news again....so I thought I better post one of my own so nobody can blame me for the same.

Both the balls are officially rolling on our MOVE.  We are waiting anxiously to see if our house will appraise at the offered price.  If not, we may have trouble...but I am confident.  All the comps in the area were selling for about what we got....but that doesn't mean we aren't praying for a smooth ride.  We are sure that our new house will appraise for more than what we are paying since we are getting a super deal on it, but one never knows.  If all continues to go well, we will close on our sell on April 3rd and on our purchase on April 6th.  That gives me about 3 weeks to get everything organized and packed and coordinated to move.  Can you tell wlhat I've been thinking about every waking moment?  I think I need another project to take my mind off of all this madness....Oh, yeah. I already have one...

Girl Scout Cookies are here!  I believe we are picking up our cookie orders tonight at girl scouts, or if not tonight, then in the next couple days.  That will definitely keep us busy for the next few days.  We want to get everything delivered by this Friday, since many people will be gone for Spring Break.  If you ordered cookies from us and are far away, we will have to get them to you as soon as we can.

Speaking of Spring Break:  We girls are thinking of coming up to Holden for a few days over the break.  I haven't visited in a long time and I also want to maybe take a trip to Spanish Fork to see my friends' Bobbie and Tiffany's new homes.  And, I need a new hairstyle....so we would like to visit. Let me know what you think, Mom!

Love to everyone! Write on your Blogs!  I need to know  what you are all doing, every day, every minute! I love you...we'll blog again (sooner than you)!

If we didn't have bad luck...

...we wouldn't have any luck at all.  Yesterday, we had to replace our water heater in our house.  It sprang a leak.  Why couldn't it wait for one or two more months?  Well, that was an expense I didn't want to have, but maybe saying that there is new water heater will help with the home appraisal, which I believe is Thursday.  Hopefully it will go well.

SOLD!

New House

We sold our house today! If all goes well, we should be moved into our new place (picture above) by Easter Weekend.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that all the financing, appraising, and general paperwork will be completed with little (no) trouble at all.  We are so excited about this move...we will be sad to leave our neighborhood and school, but we are excited to have this new adventure.  We can't wait to have everyone come and help us celebrate this new change in our lives.  Pray for us, and keep your fingers crossed.  Love you and hope to hear from you soon...

Maybe Good News...

I don't want to say anything to jinx it, so I won't...but we may have good news in the next day or so.  Tee hee!

Shaylie and Taylor both had good news with their report cards.  Taylors was full of 4's (A's for us old-school people) and Shaylie is now working on the first-grade level reading list and sight words.  Way to go, girls!

Grandma J...we got your check. Thanks!

We are getting very busy with soccer and school, not to mention everything with the house...so it's hard to fit in time for everything, but Spring Break is coming up and I think it will be a welcome vacation...if only we were going somewhere....maybe in the summer.

Love to everyone! Hope to have more good news soon....tee hee.
