Taylor, Shaylie and I went to the park yesterday for a father-daughter-daughter outing. As we started to swing, a swan decided that we were in her territory and came to tell us. Unfortunately for her, we weren't too scared. It would hiss when Blackberry got to close. I was a fun park to go to, it has a big lake with lots of ducks and swans, the only problem, there are lots of ducks and swans, the grass was full of natural fertilizer, no sitting on the grass at this park :-)We had fun, we played in the playground, walked around the lake, and kicked a soccer ball around. We also all brought our mitts and played catch, even Shaylie was doing a good job catching.

Beware of the goose.....I remember when Helen and I were about Shaylies age. We went to White Bush and the old goose grabbed onto Helens pants and would not let go. She pulled and pulled to run away but the old goose held on with all its might. Grandma Ashby (the tough bird that she was ) chased the goose hitting it with a branch she had picked up. Finally the goose let go of Helen and started to chase Grandma Ashby around the pond. Grandma Ashby all the sudden turned around and looked at the old goose dead on, the goose stopped dead in its tracks and walked away as if nothng happened at all... Beware of the goose....... Helen cried until we almosts died laughing at Grandma Ashby and the goose.....And who won in THE END love, Grmama dahn
