We had a great week at the Jesienouski house. Starting Saturday, with Scott's Birthday and a Primary Party. The girls planned a surprise for Scott and while he and Taylor were at her last basketball game of the season, Shaylie and I decorated the house and when they got home we surprised him with a party. My mom took Scott and the fam out to lunch at Fazoli's and we came home to cake and presents.
Sunday I gave my talk in church which went pretty well, even though Scott said I made him out to be the bad guy, which was not my intent at all...I just wanted to let everyone know how amazing he is that he has made such great choices in life...I was glad to share our story with our friends.
Monday, the girls and I were invited by our friends the Sabaitis' family to go to the Circus. It was right after school at the fairgrounds and I didn't tell the girls where we were going. They tried to guess and it was so much fun to keep them going...Shaylie was the one who finally guessed it. It was a pretty good little Circus. They had lions, and tigers, and bears (Oh my) as well as cute trained puppies, acrobats, bike and motorcycle tricksters, trapeze artists, jugglers, and elephants. The girls even got to ride the elephant during the intermission.
Tuesday and Wednesday we hit the Cookie Sales pretty hard. Taylor is now over 500 boxes and Shaylie is approaching 200. It's too bad they have to share this year. But as long as we survive delivery week, we'll be okay. We have until Saturday so Scott and Taylor are planning to hit the old neighborhood over the next couple days.
It's going to be tricky since we have Bella's birthday party Friday evening...and our friends the Miles are coming on Friday night to stay and visit a couple days. We are so excited! They moved to SLC in December and the kids especially are dying to see each other again. It will be good for them to get out of the freezing weather. We're suppose to hit almost 70 by early next week....this is the beginning of my favorite time of year down here.
So, that's pretty much it. We finalized plans for traveling to Phoenix at the end of the month. We'll be going down to see Mike's graduation from the Harley Davidson program he's been doing so well in. We're very proud of him and we wouldn't miss it.
Love to everyone...we'll post again soon.
