Anissa now has a blog. It is at http://olivasgirls.blogspot.com/. She says that she will not update it often, however as she is the one that says we don't update ours enough, we will keep on her. Taylor and Shaylie's rooms look pretty good and it is nice to have cut down greatly on the clutter. We'll see how long the rooms stay clean ;-)
Now I only need to convince my mom and Roger to get blogs and then everyone will have joined the blogoshere.
Thanks for thinking of me, but I am too paranoid to put my life out to the eworld. I, however really enjoy hearing about everything that is going on with the family and I check the blogs every couple of days. Scott, if with your new super security, you would set up a comman blog accessible only to the family to post comments/pictures etc., then I would be there with a running monologue about us up north. The next step would be for all of you to kick me off for being too wordy!

I easily could make a password protected site, but without a secure server, someone could sniff packets and get the password as it is passed in open text. Unfortunately, secure servers cost money, and require a monthly fee, and as everyone knows, if it costs more than nothing, it is too expensive for me. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlso Roger, as you have high speed, I am working on a way that we can communicate visually. So far, I have been able to get it down to a 64k connection (although 128 is way better, and 256 is near perfect). I just have to figure out how to deal with the firewalls, port forwarding, I should get it soon, I will let you know.
ReplyDeleteI find it funny that you have had your blog for YEARS now and nobody did anything...but I start mine and BAM!!!!! Blogs GALORE!!! Looks like you just need a trend setter like myself to hop on the band wagon and then everyone will follow. LOL
